Our commitment
247 Rapid Response is committed to ensuring this website is accessible to as many people as possible regardless of how they reach the page or which assistive technology they use. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we do
- Semantic HTML throughout, headings used hierarchically, descriptive link text avoiding bare "click here".
- Sufficient colour contrast (4.5:1 minimum for body text against background, verified across all theme states).
- Keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element, including the mega-menu and mobile drawer.
- Alt text on every meaningful image; decorative images marked aria-hidden.
- Form labels associated with inputs, error messages announced to screen readers via aria-live regions.
- Skip-to-content link on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Content reflows at 320px viewport width without horizontal scrolling.
- Time-of-day banded pricing and policy text published in plain text, not images.
Known limitations
The interactive coverage map (Leaflet) provides keyboard navigation through marker focus, but the click-and-drag pan behaviour is mouse and touch primary. Postcode coverage information is also available as a plain-text list at /coverage and through the postcode-checker form. Some legacy blog articles imported from the previous site may not yet meet our target heading hierarchy; these are being refactored progressively.

We will acknowledge within 3 working days and aim to resolve the issue within 30 days. If a fix needs longer, we will publish an interim workaround in the meantime.
Regulatory framework
247 Rapid Response Ltd is not a public-sector body and is not bound by the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018. We voluntarily align with the same WCAG 2.1 AA target the regulations set, and we acknowledge our duty under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments for disabled users.
