Environmental Management Policy

247 Rapid Response Ltd is an emergency property maintenance business, operating from a site in London. Our main services are plumbing, gas, heating, electrics and air conditioning. We recognise that our operations result in emissions of air and water, and the generation of waste. It is our aim to comply with legislation and other requirements, continue to reduce the environmental impacts of our business and operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This policy describes how we will achieve our aim.

This environmental policy applies to all our operations including management, office services, site operations, and procurement. 247 Rapid Response Ltd has overall responsibility for ensuring that sufficient resources are made available to enable the business to achieve our environmental objectives and targets and that the policy is implemented.

247 Rapid Response Ltd has the day-to-day responsibility for ensuring that the requirements of this policy are being followed and for monitoring the effectiveness of the objectives. However, all employees have a responsibility in their area to see that the aims and objectives of the policy are met.

• Complying with applicable environmental legislation, regulation and other requirements.
• Continually improving our environmental performance through measurable objectives and targets.
• Reducing emissions to air, water and land arising from our operations where this is reasonably practicable.
• Minimising waste generated through our activities and increasing recycling rates wherever feasible.
• Sourcing materials and parts from suppliers who demonstrate sound environmental management practices.
• Reducing fuel use across our fleet by route-optimising dispatches and progressively transitioning to lower-emission vehicles.
• Communicating this policy to all employees, contractors and suppliers, and reviewing it annually.
