What we replace, end to end
Failed outside tap and the short copper run from the internal feed. Includes a WRAS-approved non-return valve to prevent garden contamination back-flowing into the mains. Isolation valve added internally if one isn't already there, so future maintenance doesn't need the whole house drained.

Frost has split the body. The handle still moves but water seeps past the seat.
Tap leaks at the wall
Wall plate or compression joint has failed. Visible damp on the brickwork below the tap.
No outside tap fitted yet
We tee off the kitchen feed, drill cleanly through, and add the new tap with isolation.
Hose-union end snapped off
Replace the whole tap; trying to repair just the threaded end rarely holds.
