Emergency response

Flood damage response

Containment, extraction, drying, structural inspection, and the insurance paperwork in one team.

A property flood compounds damage every minute it's left. Water travels, through floor voids, into ceiling cavities, across electrical circuits, into wood substrates that warp within hours. The right response in the first 60 minutes is the difference between a £3,000 repair and a £30,000 strip-and-rebuild.

Our flood-response team carries industrial wet vacs, submersible pumps, dehumidifiers, air movers and moisture-content meters in every van. We contain the source, extract standing water, set up controlled drying, document everything to insurance-claim grade, and coordinate restoration to pre-incident state, all under one roof, billed directly to your insurer on covered claims.

Frequently Asked

Your questions answered

How quickly can you respond to a flood emergency?
Within 60 minutes anywhere in London. Flood callouts are prioritised above standard plumbing emergencies because the damage compounds with every minute. We stay on site until the source is contained and standing water is extracted.
Will my insurance cover the flood damage?
Almost certainly yes for sudden, unforeseen escapes of water, burst pipes, tank failures, washing machine hose ruptures. Most UK home insurance policies have full escape-of-water cover. Storm-driven flooding is also typically covered. We provide insurance-grade reports and bill insurers directly on covered claims. Full details →
How long does drying-out take?
Depends on the extent and substrates affected. Carpet/laminate flooring: 3,5 days. Solid floor screed: 7,14 days. Wall plaster after deep-soak: 14,28 days. Suspended timber floors: 14,21 days. We monitor moisture content daily and won't begin restoration until target levels are reached.
Will you handle the entire restoration?
Yes, that's the whole point of our service. Plastering, tiling, decorating, flooring replacement, ceiling rebuild, mould remediation, single accountable team from emergency response through final make-good. You don't have to coordinate multiple trades.
What does it cost out of pocket?
On insurance-covered claims: nothing. We bill your insurer directly with your written authority. On uncovered or partial claims, our standard rates apply. We always confirm what's covered before any chargeable work proceeds.
