The dominant drainage challenge across SL1, SL2 and SL3 is age diversity: Slough's building programme ran in concentrated bursts from the 1930s through the 1980s, which means inspection chambers and lateral runs of very different eras sit side by side on the same street. Every drainage project starts with a push-rod or crawler CCTV survey to map exactly what is underground before any work begins.
