On south-end properties in PO11, surface-water drainage backflow is not a theoretical risk – it is a documented one, and CCTV survey footage regularly shows the evidence: deformed or back-pitched gullies, silt accumulation at low points, and, in older stock, clay-pipe joints that have deflected under ground movement driven by the island's coastal soils.

Our process begins with a full-length CCTV survey, recorded and timestamped, so you can see exactly what the camera sees. High-pressure water jetting clears blockages and prepares the pipe wall before any further decision is made. Where structural defect is confirmed, no-dig CIPP relining is our first choice – cured-in-place lining restores full bore without ground disturbance, which matters especially on Hayling Island where excavation near the water table requires careful management. On the mainland, in Waterlooville's PO7 and PO8 estates and the older Emsworth streets of PO10, failed back-inlet gullies and root-ingress into ageing clay laterals are the most common findings.
