What we clear with rods
Soft blocks in WC pans, gulleys, manholes and shared soil stacks. Manual screw-action and corkscrew rod heads, run from the nearest access point. CCTV follow-up if the block returns within 30 days at no extra charge.
When rodding is the right call
Slow drainage but not fully blocked
Earlier intervention; rods clear it before it backs up properly.
WC pan blocked with paper / wipes
Two or three rod passes usually clear without jetting.
Outside gulley overflowing in rain
Leaves and grit in the trap. Rod and flush.
Shared stack on a converted flat
Rod from the rodding eye; less disruptive than jetting in a leaseholder block.
What it costs (indicative)
Most rod-only clearances complete inside the one-hour minimum labour charge. If rodding doesn't clear it, jetting quote is given on the spot. Full pricing.
