Drainage in the New Forest requires care at the planning stage before a single jetting nozzle enters the system. Many properties across SO40 to SO45 – including rural addresses near Brockenhurst and Ringwood – run on private septic systems or package treatment plants rather than mains foul sewer, and National Park designation constrains where new or replacement drainage runs can be routed externally.

Our methodology begins with a full CCTV push-rod or crawler survey to establish pipe condition, gradient, and connection type. High-pressure water jetting then clears blockages and root intrusion, which is common in Forest-edge properties where mature oak and beech roots exploit clay-jointed vitrified runs. Where pipework is structurally compromised, no-dig CIPP resin lining allows reinstatement without disturbing the ground surface – an important option when planning consent for open excavation would be difficult to obtain within the Park boundary. Excavation and full pipe replacement remain available where lining is not viable.
