What makes this district different

A large share of the property stock sits within or immediately adjacent to the National Park boundary. That means external pipework alterations – whether a new rodding eye, a rerouted soil stack, or a replacement drainage run – can require prior consent from the National Park Authority before work begins. We factor this into every scoping conversation. Separately, many Forest-edge and rural properties run on private water supplies and private septic systems rather than mains connections, so any survey must first establish which regime applies before recommendations are made.

Water across the district is supplied by Bournemouth Water and Southern Water, and at 270 to 310 ppm CaCO3 it sits firmly in the hard range.
