Sandy heathland subsoil is the defining drainage variable across Surrey Heath. Where Camberley's post-war streets were built on shallow sand over clay, the transition zone between the two layers creates precisely the ground conditions in which clay vitrified drainage runs distort over decades – bellying under load, cracking at joints and allowing root ingress from the mature birch and pine species typical of GU18, GU19 and GU20.

Our approach starts with a CCTV survey pushed through the full run from inspection chamber to outfall. The footage gives a scale-rated defect report before any ground is opened. Blockages and partial collapses respond to high-pressure water jetting; structurally degraded pipes that are otherwise accessible are candidates for no-dig CIPP relining, which reinstates full bore without disturbing driveways or landscaping. Where lining is not viable – misaligned junctions, collapsed sections, or connections that need reconfiguring – targeted excavation is carried out and back-filled to specification.
