Cast-iron soil stacks from the late Victorian and Edwardian period remain in service on a significant proportion of properties around Horsham town centre, and internal corrosion on these stacks is the most common precursor to a blocked or collapsed run that we see in RH12. Further out into RH13 and RH14, the failure picture shifts: rural properties in Billingshurst, Pulborough and Storrington frequently rely on private soakaways that were sized for a smaller household load and have since become compacted or root-impacted.

Our drainage survey begins with a full CCTV inspection – a camera pulled through every relevant run to produce timestamped, geo-referenced footage of root ingress, offset joints, fat deposits and any structural collapse. Where the survey confirms a blockage, high-pressure water jetting clears it without disturbing surrounding ground. Partially collapsed or cracked clay or iron sections are addressed by CIPP no-dig relining wherever the host pipe geometry allows, avoiding the cost and disruption of open excavation.
